Professor David L. Cochran, DDS, MS, PhD
Professor and Chairman of the Department of Periodontics, University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio’s Dental School
A Past President of the American Academy of Periodontology and currently Treasurer of the Academy of Osseointegration, Prof. Cochran is a leading and active member of the dental implant research community. He is widely published on various periodontal, biochemistry and implant topics and has received numerous awards for his research in both national and international forums. Dr. Cochran is an experienced basic science and clinical researcher and has received funding from both the NIH and private industry.
Prof. Cochran received his DDS, and PhD, in Biochemistry from the Medical College of Virginia (MCV). He also was trained in Periodontology from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
Professor Gabriel Chaushu, DMD, MSc, Specialist, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Prof. Chaushu is the former president of the Israeli Association of Maxillofacial Surgery and is a prominent researcher in the fields of implant dentistry, augmentation of atrophic alveolar ridge and sinus augmentation, with over 90 publications in peer-reviewed dental journals.
Dr. Donald Clem, III, DDS

Dr. Clem is a past president of the California Society of Periodontists and previously served on the Board of Trustees as President Elect in 2010, Vice President in 2009, and Secretary/Treasurer in 2008. In addition, Dr. Clem has served on multiple Academy Committee’s and Task Forces, including the Strategic Planning Committee, Education Committee, and the Editorial Liaison Committee. He was President of the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation in 2003 and a Past President of the California Society of Periodontists.Dr. Clem received his dental degree from Loyola University School of Dentistry in Chicago, Illinois in 1980, and his specialty training in periodontics from the University of Texas Health Science Center - San Antonio in 1984.
